Amedisys to Merge with Infusion Services Provider Option Care Health in $3.6 Billion Deal

In a $3.6 billion all-stock transaction, Amedisys, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMED) will merge will Option Care Health (NASDAQ: OPCH), a provider of home- and alternate-site infusion services. Based on 2022 financial results, the combined companies earned roughly $6.2 billion with adjusted EBITDA approaching $622 billion and would have a combined workforce of 16,500.
