In a fractious political environment, hospice and palliative care policy is one area in which members of both parties find common ground. Lawmakers have introduced a series of bipartisan bills designed to relieve workforce pressures and improve quality, according to Megan Thompson, senior policy advisor for Senator Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.).

Compassus Taps John Cullen as New CFO

The Tennessee-based home-based care organization Compassus has appointed John Cullen as its new CFO, effective October 30. Cullen comes to Compassus from Scripps Health, where he was vice president of corporate development. There, he led a range of growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and joint venture transactions, according to a press release from Compassus.
