Hospice Care versus Home Health Care

If a patient is experiencing uncontrolled symptoms, a higher level of home care called continuous care can be initiated. This usually involves extended hours of in-home nursing care to reduce pain or other symptoms. Hospice care includes comprehensive grief and bereavement support services for patients and their families.
