I was alone with her in the end of a long hallway at a nursing home health center. Healthcare, just the way healthcare is structured, that’s not something that’s feasible unless there’s a specific symptom management need that allows for more care, but just to provide simple care doesn’t exist.

But before I became a nurse I had a long career at Procter & Gamble in brand management and I worked on the Covergirl and Max Factor business. It was my experience as a hospice volunteer that maybe leave the corporate world and go to nursing school and ultimately become a palliative care nurse practitioner.
