Treasure Coast Hospice Appoints VP of Medical Services Florida-based Treasure Coast Hospice has tapped Dr. John Crouch as its new vice president of medical services. Crouch in 2016 became a home care and assisted living facilities physician at the organization. Cannone as its new executive vice president and COO.

In 2020 the company merged with Stratum Health, and earlier this year received a green light to expand services across three additional counties in the central region of the Sunshine State. She previously served as medical director at Suncoast Hospice.

Don’t get me wrong, the evidence points to cost savings, but as Chris Callahan and Kathleen Unroe pointed out in a JAGS editorial in 2020 “in comprehensive dementia care models, savings may accrue to Medicare, but the expenses accrue to a fluid and unstable network of local service providers, patients, and their families.” Diane: Fantastic.
