This is according to Amber Ash, pediatric hospice and palliative care social worker at Ohio-based Hospice of the Western Reserve. Researchers examined end-of-life outcomes among seniors in a national Health and Retirement Study from 2006 to 2020. Hetu-Robert is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Bristol Hospice was founded in 2006 and provides hospice and palliative care across more than 45 locations in 13 states nationwide. Hospice of Southern Maine’s is also onboarding social workers Elizabeth Leclaire and Sara Olmsted, as well as Maria McCann as bereavement support counselor.
