More than half (60%) of the 40 eligible pediatric patients enrolled in hospice after receiving three telehealth visits from interdisciplinary staff, the study — which was published in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management — found. A bill recently introduced to Congress proposed to extend these telehealth flexibilities until 2026.
