In November of 2020, I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. We were able to bring her home. She wanted to come home with me, and I was able to get hospice started for her right away. I know that UnityPoint has established a nurse residency program. She was diagnosed on October 31, and she literally died two weeks later.
