The Denver Hospice Appoints New Medical Director. The Denver Hospice recently tapped Dr. Robert Howe as its new medical director following the retirement of Dr. Shirlee Turner after 11 years of service at the company. Hiranandani earned his medical degree from St. ALC Hospice Care Names COO.

Malaz: One day I was in internal medicine residency and I had to take care of a patient who was admitted from a nursing home with dementia. For me, right now, the worst thing, my nightmare is dying from dementia alone in a nursing home. People start thinking about putting them in a nursing home. Diane: Huge.

Reading Ira’s article, it essentially was the VITAS Medical Director job description. They’re really excellent, and if I have any complaint about them at all, it’s that they could have been issued in 2008, 2009. Joseph: Well, I think again, from my perspective, quality is what matters.
