Mom could not take care of herself any more, so I had to step in.

What is the hardest thing about being a caregiver and the most rewarding thing?
The loneliness, lack of help. Rewards, knowing that I am taking care of my Mom. She deserves the best.

Take time for yourself. Even if it is only going outdoors for a few minutes.
