For families caring for a seriously ill child, life can be incredibly hard. They know that all too soon, they’ll have to say goodbye to their precious child. It’s so important that they have the chance to fill every moment with joy, and make memories together that they can treasure forever. That’s why we are so excited to announce that our friends at Center Parcs have extended our partnership for a further four years!

Since we began working together in 2016, Center Parcs has given over 100 bereaved families, like Margot’s, and those caring for a seriously ill child a priceless gift – the chance to get away and make memories together.
£1.7m for seriously ill children and their families
Teams across their fives villages – Whinfell Forest in Cumbria, Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, Longleat Forest in Wiltshire, Elveden Forest in Suffolk, and Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire – as well as at their Head Office in Nottinghamshire, have also raised a phenomenal £1.7m for the 54 amazing hospices up and down the country that we are so proud to support.
As well as match-funding donations made by guests when making bookings, Center Parcs colleagues have been taking on their own fundraising challenges – from running the London Marathon to holding duck races, and hosting auctions to ‘all-in-a-day’ fundraisers.
Giving back to their local children’s hospices
What makes our partnership truly special is the close relationships villages have with their local children’s hospice. Directly partnered with their local hospice, colleagues at villages have also donated countless hours of their time to make a difference on the ground. They’ve renovated sensory gardens, used their specialist skills to help fix and maintain hydrotherapy pools, and have treated parents to their award-winning spa treatments at the hospice.
We are so excited for the next four years, helping even more families who so desperately need and deserve a special break together and supporting the incredible hospices that care for them.
