Agape Care Names New Palliative Medical Director

Agape Care Group, a portfolio company of Ridgemont Equity Partners has appointed Kari Bradford, a doctor of nursing practice, as its new palliative medical director.

In this role, Bradford will lead the organization’s integrated palliative care program model with an additional focus on growing the workforce. She will also serve as a mentor to palliative care teams, the company indicated in an announcement.

“We’re excited to welcome Kari Bradford to the Agape Care team,” Troy Yarborough, CEO of Agape Care Group, said in a statement. “With her leadership and passion for palliative care, we’ll be able to offer even more comprehensive support for palliative patients, their families, and our team members.”

Bradford is an advanced certified hospice and palliative care nurse practitioner and an active member of both the Hospice and Palliative Nurse Association and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She is based in Charleston, South Carolina.

Silverado Names New VP of Sales

The hospice and palliative care provider Silverado has hired Dawn Wolda to be its national vice president of sales. In this role, she will be responsible for design and manage the optimization of sales operations to increase market share and drive innovation.

Wolda previously served as the senior vice president of sales at Choice Health at Home where she oversaw a 55 percent increase in sales productivity in under two years. Wolda’s previous experience also includes a number of executive and area leadership roles.

Tidewell Foundation Taps New President

The Tidewell Foundation has named Delesa Morris as its new president. She has held the position on an interim basis since Dec. 2022, and her appointment will now become permanent.

For six months prior to the interim appointment, Morris served as senior vice president for the organization. The foundation is the philanthropic arm of Tidewell Hospice, an affiliate of Empath Health.

Morris brings more than 25 years of experience in philanthropy, including at three hospitals at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health in Stuart and Port St. Lucie. The Tidewell Foundation recruited her in July 2022 after a national search for a senior vice president, according to a press release.

“Appointing a new president is always a complicated process, but we have the rare luxury of knowing that we’re already in safe hands,” Tidewell Foundation Board Chairperson Renee Eppard said in the release. “We are confident Ms. Morris will make a seamless transition into the permanent role.”

Coastal Home Health & Hospice Hires Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner

Coastal Home Health & Hospice recently brought on board Dr. Palak Patel as its new medical director and Stacy Kreger as a nurse practitioner. The new hires follow the retirement of hospice physician Dr. Mark Silver.

Patel is fellowship trained in geriatric medicine with an emphasis on palliative and end-of-life care.

Stacy Kreger, a nurse practitioner has an extensive background in geriatric and hospice care, the company indicated in a press release.
