Stories from our colleagues in Ukraine have been both inspiring and troubling. Staff has been working overtime with fewer resources, as programs accommodate internally displaced persons and deal with shortages of supplies, medications, and staff. Families are unable to visit their loved ones and patients suffer from limited access to care and medications.

The All-Ukrainian Associate of Palliative and Hospice Care was founded in 2011 and is currently working to provide support and direct supplies to hospices and palliative care wards in the country. As supply chains have somewhat stabilized, they are now able to get medications, wound care supplies, mattresses, beds, diapers, and patient monitoring equipment to hospices and palliative care wards across Ukraine.

We are working with the All-Ukrainian Associate of Palliative and Hospice Care and the non-profit Global Oncology to raise funds to support those facing serious illness in Ukraine and our colleagues caring for them. During a war, cancer and other serious illnesses do not disappear, and neither should our support.
