That’s a Wrap! Highlights from Better Outcomes 2018
Last week, we welcomed hundreds of home care professionals and agency representatives to our annual user conference in Niagara Falls for a remarkable three days of hands-on software training, client roundtables, product demos and presentations from industry leaders.
It was a notable year in home healthcare technology and improved client outcomes and we hope everyone who attended found the inspiration, education and connections needed to help grow your business and set your organization up for success in this ever-changing industry.
Some highlights from the Falls:
A Warm Welcome to Danielle Kane: Danielle Kane, a nursing student and a victim of the Danforth shooting in Toronto this summer, was honoured at the conference and will be joining the AlayaCare team. With her background and personal medical experience, Danielle will deepen the perspective of our product team and act as a product specialist and as a client and patient advocate, to support our family and patient portal as well as nursing features. We are deeply inspired by her story and are excited to welcome her to our AlayaCare family.
Insightful presentations: On the main stage, we hosted a roster of interesting talks. From Australia, Jerome Barrientos described the transformation journey of Enrich Health Solutions and how AlayaCare underpinned their vision of a mobile healthcare business. Dr. Zaynat Khayat of Saint Elizabeth delivered a memorable talk on the future of digital health and the vision of health care morphing into home care.
Our own Brady Murphy, VP, Sales and Marketing at AlayaCare, captained a panel discussion on global care models and focused in on how agencies around the world are addressing employee churn. Closing off the conference was Element AI’s CSO, Nicolas Chapados, discussing the ways cutting-edge artificial intelligence can solve complex business problems. Several presentations are available here, and we plan to translate what we learned into future stories — stay tuned.
Innovative partners: We were pleased to introduce attendees to many of our fantastic partners, including Caredove’s referral system, Sunbeez’s healthcare compliant solutions, Waystar’s platform to revolutionize your revenue cycle, and Airdoc’s turnkey capability to generate and control customer communication from anywhere, anytime. All of our partners’ platforms dovetail seamlessly with AlayaCare and make your experience with our software even more powerful. Watch this space for more on these and other partners — and, if you’re interested in being an exhibitor at Better Outcomes 2019, please let us know. This event grows year after year.
AlayaCare University kick-off: This new initiative kicked off at the conference with workshops intended to give our users the deepest insight in using our software. We received such great feedback that we plan on hosting at least two or three of these sessions each year. Be sure to check out this detailed post for more about what AlayaCare University has to offer.
