Lacey Price, a nurse for the last 14 years at the Ernest Childers VA Outpatient Clinic in Tulsa, Okla., was among 33 nurses from the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System recognized as part of the Great 100 Nurses Celebration of Oklahoma for going above and beyond in serving others through their profession.

Price honors our veterans by attending to their needs, and we celebrate her as our Nurse of the Week.

Being recognized as part of the Great 100 Nurses Celebration surprised Price. She says it was an honor to be among some incredible nurses.

At the Ernest Childers VA Outpatient Clinic , Price spends her time assessing veterans, managing their chronic diseases, and providing primary care.

“For me, it’s a way to serve my county, to give back to those who have given everything for us,” says Price. “It’s a huge honor, and I take it seriously. I truly love my job, and I love the veterans.”
