Legacy Care Partners Acquires Superior Home Health, Hospice

Wisconsin-headquartered Legacy Care Partners Inc. has acquired Superior Home Health and Superior Hospice of Texas. Financial terms were undisclosed.

Combined, Superior’s home health and hospice businesses operate seven locations that serve 50 Texas counties and more than 500 cities. The transaction expands Legacy’s existing footprint in Texas. The company also provides care in Florida, Michigan and Wisconsin.

“We extend a warm welcome to Superior Home Health and Superior Hospice into the Legacy Care Partners family,” Brian McDonald, CEO and president of Legacy Care Partners Inc., said in a statement. “This strategic acquisition positions us to broaden our impact in Texas, ensuring that more communities have access to the high-quality health care services they deserve.”

Legacy Care Partners offers home care, assisted living, memory care, hospice and funeral services. The company is the result of a reverse merger between Trailblazer Resources Inc. (TBLZ:OTC/BB) and Legacy Care Partners LLC. A reverse merger occurs when a private firm goes public by purchasing an existing public company.

As of 2023, the company is in the process of relisting on the OTC/QX exchange with long-term plans to list on the NASDAQ. The over-the-counter (OTC) market is a decentralized market where securities that are not listed on major exchanges are traded directly by a network of dealers.
