IntellaTriage Acquires NurseLine

IntellaTriage has acquired NurseLine, a national provider of hospice and home health triage services. Financial terms were undisclosed.

Established in 2008, IntellaTriage provides after-hours nurse triage services for a range of health care providers, including hospice and home health providers, hospitals, physician groups, health plans and specialty practices.

Combining their platform with NurseLine’s will strengthen IntelliTriage’s position in the marketplace, according to CEO Daniel Reese.

“NurseLine has built a remarkable reputation for delivering high-quality hospice triage,” Reese said in a statement. “This acquisition aligns with our long-term goals to advance healthcare through cutting-edge technology and expert clinical support. Together, we are well-positioned to offer unparalleled solutions to post-acute providers, improving patient outcomes, reducing nurse burnout, and increasing operational efficiency.”

IntellaTriage in October 2022 secured new growth investment dollars in a funding round led by Pacific Lake Partners, with participation from Trilogy Search Partners, TTCER Partners, The Nashton Company, Aspect Investors, and Granite Point Partners. The exact dollar amount of these investments were confidential.

NurseLine was founded in 2016 to offer nationwide nurse-based triage services during nights, weekends, and holidays, aiming to reinforce providers’ clinical teams and boost efficiency.

IntellaTriage expects “seamless” integration of the two companies’ platforms, as well as access to a wider customer base.

“We are excited to join forces with IntellaTriage, a company that shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients and their families any time of day,” Devang Patel, CEO of NurseLine, said in a press release. “Together, we will continue to redefine the future of after-hours care, providing health care providers with the support services they need to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.”
